The Syrian-Saudi initiative aimed at finding a solution to the Lebanese crisis is garnering more regional and international support, An Nahar daily reported Tuesday.
The newspaper quoted diplomatic sources as saying that regional and international efforts to stir Lebanon out of its crisis are so far not facing any obstacles given that countries involved with the situation in Beirut have no interest in seeing deteriorating political and security conditions.
An-Nahar further added that such support contributes to a solution that "ends the political and constitutional paralysis" that has struck the country.
Sources also said it is more likely that the coming week will witness progress on this level, especially that all sides whether inside or outside Lebanon.
