Ayatollah Fadlallah welcomes Sheikh Qassem and offers condolences to the victims of Ethiopian airplane

Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah saw that the tragic plane accident is part of the general Lebanese pain, of which it included other griefing families of other nationalities, noting that during this ordeal the Lebanese have made a model upscale with their cohesion, compassion and unity as a living nation that deserves life.

H. E. emphasized also that this represents a call for officials to assume their responsibilities at work, for the sake of a just and capable State of which everyone is equal under the law fair, and which protects the qualifications and works on embracing it, rather than living in forced immigration, which makes us pay a high price, as in this recent disaster.

Ayatollah Fadlallah continued with the visitors about the awful Ethiopian plane crash, and the situation of the bereaved families, of where he spoke about this tragic incident and its file with the Deputy Secretary General of Hizbullah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, who visited him to reassure his health.

Sheikh Qassem discussed with Ayatollah Fadlallah a number of general developments and the recent threats of the Zionist enemy, in addition to the plane crash disaster and its consequences.

His Eminence gave condolences to the families of the victims of the Lebanese and Ethiopians, and other nationalities, and prayed to Almighty to grant His mercy to the victims and reward them with His spacious paradise and inspire their families with patience and fortitude.
