The World Health Organization (WHO), stated in a report that the almost four year old sentenced siege on the Gaza strip, in addition to the previous "Israeli" assault, have played a big role in the fall back of the living conditions of the people there.
The Organization's report warned from the collapse lived by Gaza, after the increase of the unemployment rate, and thus the increase of poverty. The poverty rate had reached 70% among families that live on an income of less than a dollar per day for each individual.
As for the medical aspect, the organization referred that many special medical treatments are not available in Gaza, adding that many requests from patients to go abroad for treatment have been disapproved from the "Israeli" authorities. These disapprovals have led to a major fall back in some individuals' treatments, and sometimes to death.
The report also revealed a shortage in necessary medical equipments, in addition to the lack of training sessions for the medical groups, after Gaza's cutout from the rest of the world.
The WHO closed its report shedding the light on the increase of salinity and the level of nitrate in the well waters of Gaza. This represents a great concern whether how much is the water viable and drinkable.
