Moussawi calls for saving the victims’ bodies, uncovering the reasons behind the crash
Local Editor, 29-1-2010
Hizbullah international relations official Ammar Moussawi considered that the catastrophic national disaster of the Ethiopian plane crash united all the Lebanese. Moussawi praised the strained efforts of the Lebanese government and local communities which aim at finding the victims' bodies and the plane's fuselage.
In a meeting held by Hizbullah on Thursday, Moussawi called on officials to continue efforts to retrieve the victims' bodies and to uncover the reasons behind the crash so that the issue won't be a subject for diverse interpretations.
Furthermore, Moussawi felt uneasy as the voice of expatriates is not heard except at moments of catastrophe, calling for serious work to support and help expatriates in facing their different problems.
Moussawi stressed that the problem is not only in providing safe, secure and reliable air transportation services to the heart of Africa , but also in the lack of embassies in many African countries, hoping for a responsible action to resolve these problems, which constitute major obstacles to Lebanese expatriates.
