Fneish: Administrative Appointments Still to be Negotiated
Local Editor 03-02-2010
Mohammad Fneish, Lebanese Minister of Administrative Development, said that the administrative appointments' issue has not been put aside, but is still to be negotiated in order to reach an understanding within the law, which we would refer to. He also referred that there are essential files to be discussed in cabinet, and one of these files is the one related to the administrative appointments. This issue needs to be set on a technique based on compatibility, taking into consideration the efficiency, competence, and balances, Fneish added. He also considered that this technique needs dialogue.
A press conference was held in the Ministry of Administrative Development, with the presence of the Minister of Immigrants, Akram Shehayeb, over launching a website for the Ministry of Immigrants. During the press conference, Minister Fneish confirmed that presenting the Internet Technology into the Ministry of Immigrants, does not mean that this issue should stay opened, but there must be facilities to help close the issue. He explained that it is not right to keep the suffering of the people present, nor is it right to keep this issue as a bleeding wound of the country.
