Hizbullah receives Cuban Communist Youth Delegation

A delegation from the Cuban Communist Youth Union visited the main headquarters of Hizbullah's Cultural Mobilization. The delegation was received by the officials of the headquarters Hajj Ali Meree and Hajj Yousef Bassam, in addition to several brothers from the headquarters.

The delegation, headed by Giovanni Baroyta and accompanied by Ms. Wafika Ibrahim from the Cubam Embassy, is taking part in the World Forum for Democratic Youth.

The delegation discussed various topics with the HCM officials, namely matters concerning youth and resistance.

The two sides compared the Lebanese experience with the Cuban experience in both fields, noting aspects that could be developed.

Mr. Giovanni Baroyta expressed his admiration of Hizbullah's resistance which delivered a huge blow to world imperialism during the July '06 war. Hajj Meree considered that there should be unity in struggle ond objectives, expressing his appreciation, in turn, of the Cuban experience.

Mr. Baroyta invited the HCM to visit Cuba in order to conduct a close hands-on observation of the Cuban example of struggle.
