Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi described the Zionist threats of waging war as "thinking out loud" about the heavy toll on the Zionist entity.

Moussawi stressed during a ceremony commemorating the 31st anniversary for the Islamic Revolution in Iran that what was voiced by the enemy in the recent past "was an attempt by the Zionist officials to excuse themselves in front of their society in that they are incapable of going to war."

Moussawi declared that the Zionist threats were closer to a strategy to invoke peace talks with Syria than to prepare for a military campaign against Syria and Lebanon.

Moussawi emphasized that the danger "which encircles Lebanon's national unity in the form of sectarian instigation and civil war is much more treacherous than the Zionist threat on Lebanon's doorsteps."

"Everyone must bear their responsibilities and take the decisions and steps needed to thwart this danger," he added.

Moussawi considered that the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran "changed regional and international balances," adding that, "the resistance which was victorious is the daughter of Imam Khomeini's thought, because it walked in his footsteps."
