Izzediin: Hostility compass to stay pointed at the Zionists & no where else!!

The Arab Relations Unit in Hizbullah held a celebration on Saturday evening at the Family House Restaurant in honor of the participants of the "Resistance Choice and State-Building" conference that was organized by the National Assembly to Support the Resistance Choice (NASRC) on 19 -21 February, 2010.

The celebration was attended by a crowd of scholars, dignitaries and representatives of Arab and Islamic political parties and media bodies, as well as journalists.

NASRC Chairman Dr. Yehya Ghaddar thanked Hizbullah's Arab Relations Unit for hosting the conference participants and stressed the importance of convergence on the concept of resistance from several countries and ethnic groups, as it would give the resistance a distinct presence across the nation.

In his turn the Arab Relations Official in Hizbullah Sheikh Hassan Izzeddin, pointed in his speech to the conference coinciding with the Resistance Week, commemorated this year against a background of challenges targeting the resistance on one side and a rallying around the resistance on the other.

He also spoke about the role the resistance played in achieving victory after victory against the Zionist enemy, and having psychological and moral high ground as well as a military advantage in the field, seeing the difficult and complex choices forced on the enemy, fording it into a circle of inability to act.

The resistance has contributed to the imposition of a new deterrence equation that will go down in contemporary history, being in possession of the strength of a just cause, the right to use force, and the ability to defend Lebanon in any future confrontation. He added saying that the nation can benefit from the resistance experience to confront the enemy, who is now experiencing weakness, vulnerability, and decline in its project of occupation and domination.

Sheikh Izzeddin reaffirmed the need to support the resistance through emphasis on:

1. Defining priorities at the nation's responsibilities level, where it is not permissible to divert the hostility compass away from the Zionist enemy to other parties, namely Iran, as some are trying to promote.

2. Confronting the culture of despair, frustration and defeat, and instead promoting the culture of life, hope, ability and self-confidence.

3. To prevent sectarian strife and stand against anyone attempting to inflame it or present a misleading picture to ignite it.
