Abu Zeinab: Ahmadinejad-Assad Meeting will Frighten "Israeli" Enemy
Local Editor, 25-02-2010
Hizbullah Political Council Member Ghaleb Abu Zeinab said that Thursday's meeting held between Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Syrian counterpart, Bashar Assad, in Damascus will frighten the "Israeli" enemy.
Abu Zeinab also touched on "Israel's" recurrent threats, saying that his party does not expect a new assault on Lebanon in the near future. "Still, we are not afraid [of "Israel"] should a new war break out."
He also said that Hizbullah's main concern is to give Lebanon the option of being on an equal footing militarily with the Zionist State.
He added that should Lebanon be affected negatively, then the same will happen to "Israel". However, he did not elaborate further.
