MP Moussawi: Hizbullah Committed to Resistance, National Unity

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi issued a statement in which he clarified the misinterpretation of his earlier statement on Monday.

"There occurred a misinterpretation to the statement I gave during a memorial service earlier, which gave inaccurate and false meaning of what I had meant. To eliminate any ambiguity, I emphasize that we in Hizbullah are concerned about co-existence as much as we care about resisting the Zionist enemy. By that, this co-existence is contradictory to the Zionist and racist entity." Moussawi said.

He stressed "Co-existence is what we aim at through working hard to on consolidating all forms of unity, at the top of which comes the national unity."

Earlier, Moussawi said during a religious ceremony that "it would be foolishness for some in the world or in Lebanon to think that they would be able to defeat the resistance through non-military means after they failed to defeat it through military confrontation."
