Sheikh Qassem Receives Former Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ferzli

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, received former Lebanese Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Elie Ferzli, where they discussed latest issues and their updates.

After the meeting, Ferzli said in his statement, "We have discussed the latest issues, and the stress was on the importance of protecting Lebanon from the "Israeli" unambiguous ambitions, especially after the "Israeli" assaults in South Lebanon and in Al-Quds (Jerusalem)."

Ferzli continued, "This led us to the inside of Lebanon, were Christianity's role is ought to be stressed upon, since Lebanon is more than a homeland, it's also a message, and the active Christianity presence in Lebanese is the missionary for all Lebanese, in support of Arab and Islamic issues. This truth should be constantly reassured."
