Lebanese Speaker of Parliament, Nabih Berri, condemned terrorist blasts in Baghdad, which are killing and abolishing great areas of Iraqi facilities, in addition to the unity of Iraq.

In a statement, Nabih Berri called upon Iraqis to adopt dialogue and agreement in order to form a national unity government. He added that Iraq should learn from Lebanon's experience, which assured that open crises make way to terrorism and crime to abolish security and political stability. Berri referred that dialogue, agreement, understanding, and forming a government of national unity, lead the way towards civil peace, maintaining national security, and achieving advancement and development plans.

On the national level, Berri said that the municipality elections will be on time on May 2, and answering a question of the possibility of postponing it, he said, "let the government hold responsibility of sending a bill to the parliament if there was any intension from anyone to postpone it".
In a meeting with MP Hassan Fadlallah, Head of Media and Telecommunication Parliamentary Commission, Speaker of Parliament Berri went over latest updates regarding the security convention.

On the other hand, Berri also met with Arab Youth and Sports Ministers, and Lebanese Youth and Sports Minister Ali Abdallah, along with the Ministry's general manager, Zeid Khiyami.
Head of Arab Youth Council of Ministers, Mufeed Shehab, said, "We were honored to meet with President Berri, and we discussed with him the council's Executive Office's meetings and the upcoming council's activities".

Shehab also added, "We went through the council's role in supporting the Arab unity, and our duty to solidarity and challenges we are facing, especially regarding Al-Quds and the "Israeli" settlings in occupied Palestinian lands".
