MP Fadlallah Announces Putting Final Touches on “Security Agreement” Communications Report

Head of Media and Telecom Parliamentary Committee MP Hassan Fadlallah announced that the committee is putting the final touches on its report which will be submitted to House Speaker Nabih Berri to take action on the matter.

According to Fadlallah, the report includes a conclusion of all the discussions of the committee related to the "US security agreement scandal".

In a press release, Fadlallah said that the report reflects the different opinions in the committee.

Earlier on Wednesday, Fadlallah, chaired a Media and Telecommunications Commission meeting at the parliament in which he said the US request was an attempt to violate Lebanon's sovereignty, highlighting that the committee is keen on preserving the country's security and are following up on the matter.
