Raad: "Israeli" Threats and Accusations:"A Symphony We’re Used to Hearing"
Local Editor 13-04-2010
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member, MP Mohammad Raad, considered that the "Israeli" threats on Lebanon, and accusing Syria of supplying Hizbullah with arms, are not of a new deal, and they have become a "symphony we're used to hearing".
In a visit to President Emil Lahoud's, along with MPs Nawwar Saheli and Ali Mokdad, Raad confirmed that the strategic threat reaching Lebanon is the aggression prepared by the enemy, in an attempt to regain the initiative, so that the Arabs would forget the Palestinian issue.
On another level, MP Raad stressed on united efforts in order to confront great merits, also showing President Lahoud's support of resistance, and commitment to its path, facing the coming up challenges.
Former MP Bshara Merhej, after meeting with President Lahoud, said, "The "Israeli" enemy's policy based on displacing Palestinians and turning Al Quds (Jerusalem) into a Jewish state, should be confronted by all Arab regimes, due to its severity and direct effectiveness on Lebanon".
Concerning the Lebanese court and the International tribunal regarding the false statements of witness Zohair Assidik, former MP Emil Lahoud called upon the Lebanese Judiciary to take action concerning this issue, referring to the inadmissibility of this situation to pass by unheeded.
Furthermore, former President Lahoud stressed on the importance of investigating with Assidik, in order "to know who stands behind him, whether countries or intelligence, which aim at initiating a civil war to give "Israel" a break".
