Nawwaf Moussawi: Scud Missile Pandemonium Only a Media-Political Maneuver
Local Editor, 19-04-2010
Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi stressed that the "Israeli" media campaign concerning scud missiles is aimed at putting the issue of the enemy's security in the spotlight as a part of a political media maneuver.
In an interview with the Hizbullah MP on Al-Nour Radio this morning, Moussawi reminded that any decision to start war in the region could only be made by "Israel" which can only do so if the United States gives it the Green light.
"The ‘Israeli' entity is a threat to the entire Arab vicinity," Moussawi said, adding that vicinity ought to uphold its duty in gathering all its defensive powers to confront this usurping entity. "Arabs ought to always have in mind that we are in a position of enmity with the usurping entity," he said, adding, "Our stances are defensive."
Moussawi clarified that the resistance is very serious when it comes to the deterring any Zionist attack before it occurs.
Moussawi considered that the ongoing Zionist attacks in Odeisy, Abbasiyeh, and Wazzani in southern Lebanon are due to the Zionist anxiety, fear, and nervousness.
"Lebanon should make use of its diplomatic presence in the Security council to condemn the ongoing Zionist aggressions and demand a strong stance against them," Moussawi said.
Moussawi commented on the Lebanese dialogue discussions saying the Hizbullah deals in complete seriousness with the dialogue in hope that there could be a common apprehension between all sides of the dialogue table on the national defense strategy.
Moussawi also stressed that the Lebanese-Syrian relationships should be based on the Lebanese-Syrian interests, not on the state of the Syrian-Arab relations.
