Abu Zeinab: Hizbullah - Amal Alliance a model & example in Lebanon
Hizbullah held a political meeting in the Radof Cemetery Husseiniyat Hall, with the party's Political Council member Hajj Ghaleb Abu Zeinab, who described the alliance between Hizbullah and Amal movement as a model and example in Lebanon, because many of the parties have gone for similar alliances.
He said "Through this alliance, we have formed a kind of political consensus based on dealing positively and with great openness, therefore the principle of harmony and consensus in the municipal work.
Thus, the municipal reality moved from being an area of political competition to an area of joint action for development and projects that serve the citizens, thus raising the level of services to the people, hence honoring our principal promise "To always be at people's service".
Therefore, we went for the application of relative representation that we have been advocating, and have tried to reflect the existing dynamic reality in the elections, dismissing talk that says that the municipal elections came to abolish the families and repeal the so-called civil status.
As for focusing on issues in Lebanon like development, serving people, and development action, additional to core issues such as electricity, water, etc., Abu Zeinab said "These matters should form a major concern among the political parties, especially in Hizbullah. We in Hizbullah are trying to work in this direction, and want to give it priority in the coming phase."
