Saheli: Unity in South Lebanon & Bekaa is a Victory against the Zionist Enemy
Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Nawwar Saheli has stressed on the importance of the agreement between Hizbullah and Amal Movement, explaining that it maintains internal unity.
"This agreement is not only at the level of villages or towns, but is a central agreement written and signed by His Eminence the leader of the resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri," MP Saheli said during a ceremony honoring outstanding students of Amjaad Institute in Nabatiyeh.
"We say to our brothers, today's candidates who may withdraw their nominations in this week, that anyone gaining a post in the municipality, must serve the people in the town. This work is a legitimate duty additional to being a municipal council duty, mistaken he is who comes to this post with the mentality of seeking personal gain," he said.
He added, "We will attempt to bring in the more competent in all towns, those who represent and serve the people."
Saheli said "What was raised through the media last week is unfortunate", asserting that "The unity in the south and the Bekaa is a victory against the Zionist enemy."
The Hizbullah MP pointed out that "This agreement between Hizbullah and Amal is to remain as an impenetrable fortification to prevent anyone breaching our ranks to exploit any differences to break our lines...and this is the true victory against the Zionist enemy and not the elections."
