Yazbek: Tripartite Summit in Turkey a Sign of Regional Well-Being & Free Choice
The head of the Hizbullah Juristic Board, Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek, saw in the tripartite meeting that took place in Turkey a month ago, which brought together the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Al-Thani, a sign of well-being in the region that wants to master its own decision making process and which refuses to have anything dictated to it.
Sheikh Yazbek's words came during a celebration in the Syrian city of al-Foa, honoring the martyrs' families of the Lebanese resistance and the Syrians, under the patronage of Idlib province's governor, Mr. Khalid Ahmed, in the presence of Idlib police chief, a number of the province's officials and a large gathering of the martyrs' families and Idlib's influential figures.
Sheikh Yazbek, who conveyed the greetings of the resistance leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, to the Syrian Arab people, stressed that "The Palestinian people's unity with the Arab and Islamic nations is the way to regain Palestine from the hands of its usurpers" pointing out that "With Syria's support, Lebanon became strong, honored and dignified."
His Eminence pledged the martyrs to continue on the path of resistance and Jihad, adding, "We look forward to the nation turning into lions, to preserve its rights and holy sites, for our holy places and rights will only be returned by the resistance."
In their turn, different speakers sent their greetings to Hizbullah Secretary General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and praised Hizbullah combatants.
At the end of the celebration, different poems glorifying resistance and the resistance combatants were recited, and Shields of Honor and gifts were distributed to the families of the martyrs.
