Fayyad: "Israel’s" lack of confidence in its own capacities stopped it from waging war

On the anniversary of a group of resistance martyrs, of the M'raijeh - al-Leilaki areas and Tahwitat al-Ghadir, Hizbullah held a ceremony at al- Hadath area Mahdi School, under the patronage of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc member, MP Dr. Ali Fayyad, in the presence of a delegation from Hizbullah leadership, a delegation from the martyrs' families, and a gathering of local citizens and dignitaries.

The celebration was launched with a eulogy delivered by martyr Sayyed Ahmed Fadlallah's daughter, in which she expressed the extent of her longing to her martyr father, saying the importance and nobility of the cause for which her father was martyred, consoles her.

In his turn, MP Dr. Ali Fayyad pointed out in his speech that "Up until now, the reason why ‘Israel' has been unable to carry out its threats of war against Lebanon is because of nothing but the resistance's deterrent capacity, and due to ‘Israel's' lack of confidence in its own capacity-contrary to what it claims."

"‘Israel' is still captive to the military and psychological hang ups caused by the blow it suffered in the July 2006 war; hence, ‘Israel' realizes it does not have any guarantees of winning the war or achieving its objectives against the resistance."

Fayyad confirmed that "Faltering he would be who invests his stakes and calculations on American promises, whether in negotiations, settlements, or in anything else."
He pointed out "The track record of some is full of gambles on America and on the changes it promises, while in fact, all these bets proved disappointing in the past, seeing how the Americans abandoned their allies at the first crossroads that appeared and with any rising changes. These people now will face the same position in the future, because America's only true ally is ‘Israel'."

Fayyad called for investing in popular will and the Lebanese people's right to resistance when it comes to the protection of their national interests.

The celebration was concluded with chants performed by al-Wilaya group.
