Sheikh Qassem: "Freedom Flotilla" a Justice Cry in the Zionist Entity’s Face & the Arrogant Forces behind It

In his speech, he said the Freedom Flotilla fleet was on its way to perform a noble and humanitarian deed, when "Israel" attacked and killed innocent people on board of these ships.

His Eminence described the freedom fleet as a cry of justice in the face of all arrogant oppressors and supporters of "Israel", and not only in "Israel's" face. "It is a cry out in the face of arrogant forces that stand behind "Israel", because in reality-without them "Israel" would not exist. It is present only due to the backing of these major states, which support it regardless of its falsehood and crimes," he exclaimed.

"We saw how they attacked the freedom fleet in cold blood; the Security Council was supposed to meet and decide on harsher sanctions against ‘Israel', including war on the ‘Israeli' entity at least, instead we heard shy comments and the European Union demanding that "Israel" investigates what happened, when what's required is a very harsh condemnation coupled with sanctions, a blockade and all the strong international stands.
The activists aboard the Flotilla Freedom fleet are noble and stand with occupied Palestine while the world stands on the other side," his eminence added.

Sheikh Qassem stressed that "What happened is a crime against humanity, a condemnation here is not sufficient when only the severest of penalties must be imposed. What happened clearly and directly indicates that all existing regional tensions are caused by ‘Israel.' If the region is experiencing security, economic or moral crisis today, it is because of ‘Israel' all the misfortunes are caused by ‘Israel'. The Europeans and the world need to know that if they think by placing ‘Israel' in our midst it can become a disaster to us, they think wrong, since, God willing, they will soon discover ‘Israel' to be more of a burden on European countries and the West than it is on us, a burden on all of humanity even. They will also receive their share of its evil misdeeds, wrongdoing, deviation and aggression. We have seen how it forged and used their passports in order to kill martyr Mabhouh. We also have seen how it violates the sanctity of individual European countries and how it does not care about their future or that of their children. The West will discover that ‘Israel' is a burden on them as well."

Hizbullah Deputy S.G. considered the only viable solution is through resistance, "Only a military solution works with ‘Israel' not a diplomatic or a political one, because ‘Israel' only understands a language of force... 62 years of experience with it has proved it only heeds when faced with fire, it's only deterred by fire according to treating fire with fire. Today, here we cannot forget that this region is luminous with the blessings of resistance states - and I won't say states of invincibility- because ‘invincibility' is a negative conduct of not doing anything. ‘Resistance' on the other hand is a movement towards jihad and support of Mujahideen. We can clearly say that Islamic Iran and Assad's Syria are resistance states; and as Hizbullah-resistance we are proud to be with our brothers in Palestine, and with the two states of resistance Iran and Syria, even if hypocrites of the world hate us for it."

His Eminence Sheikh Qassem asked, "Has ‘Israel' not been a nuclear state for decades? Does it not possess more than two hundred nuclear warheads?! Why is ‘Israel' not being asked to cease its nuclear activities? Why are nuclear weapons not banned from ‘Israel'?
This is all because they want ‘Israel' as a scarecrow in the midst of our region; ‘Israel' is now the policeman and stick to pull into line all regional countries and their peoples. All this would happen if our honorable Mujahedin resistance combatants were not here."

He added "International rejection of Iran's peaceful nuclear program is a step stone to besiege, isolate and topple Iran's Islamic Republic experience. In fact, it aims at bringing Iran down in its testing times, to impose restrictions to prevent it from advancement. The issue with Iran is not its nuclear program; it is rather its determination to be an honorable and independent State that supports the resistance, the Mujahideen and the liberals. This is what they do not Iran doing. Hence, they protest its nuclear dossier and anything else they could find to protest against."

"If we reviewed all the international laws raised by them," his eminence added, "Whether those connected with the IAEA, the Security Council or any other law, we would find that all observed international laws allow the use of peaceful nuclear energy, as well as all steps towards this use. Yet Iran is prohibited from enriching uranium, and forbidden from having peaceful nuclear production capacity. Its natural scientific course is also forbidden from progressing, even when Iran everyday issues statements of not wanting to produce the bomb, when its Leader Imam Khamenei (may God protect him) prohibits the production of the bomb; and when there is no evidence of any violations of these peaceful steps. However, the United States and major countries refuse, blockade and prosecute Iran with various sanctions, because they does not want to see Iran making progress."

During the current climates of the passing away anniversary of the late Imam Khomeini, Sheikh Qassem said, "Imam Khomeini (RIP) brought about historic change in Iran and the world. He worked under the slogan of neither Western nor Eastern, allowing the Islamic Republic of Iran to rise independently, by the will of its people and their independent choices. He introduced us to true Islam, away from radicalism and deviant interpretations. He is the one who called for Islamic unity and worked for it. He stood by the Palestinian cause and implemented the first practical step by shutting down the ‘Israeli' Embassy in Iran and opening the Embassy of Palestine in its place."
