The Arab Relations official in Hizbullah Sheikh Hassan Ezzedine described the stance of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as "strong, particularly in terms of the language he used when he said ‘Even outlaw pirates have not carried out such deeds'," adding that "Turkish dynamism with its historical and national roots is what governs its policy today."

In an interview with Al-Manar Television Channel, Ezzedine saw that, "through its aggression on the Freedom Flotilla fleet the Zionist entity proved it does not want peace, embarrassing the U.S. administration in the process."

Sheikh Hassan indicated that the meeting scheduled between U.S. President Barack Obama and enemy Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, "was cancelled by the U.S. to prevent embarrassment before the international community."

"Experience proved that ‘Israel' continues with its militancy and intransigence, which embarrasses the U.S. position particularly when the latter tries to convince the Arabs of the feasibility of negotiating," Ezzedine indicated.

The Hizbullah official pointed out that, "The crime committed against the passengers of the freedom fleet formed a turning point until the siege is completely lifted. The first results of what happened as a result of this pure blood being offered for Gaza's freedom, is the opening of the Rafah crossing."

"This forms a basic and important step. Egypt must return to this aspect of its history and role, which qualifies it to be part of the conflict with the enemy" he noted.

The Hizbullah official stressed saying, "In the event the occupation entity does not respond to Turkish demands, Ankara will re-examine its relationship with Tel Aviv, at least in the bilateral agreements between both sides, at the economic and security levels. This threatens to transform the relationship from alliance to another entirely different position."
