Tyre City Scholars: Zionist Aggression on Freedom Fleet Happened Because of World Silence

"Tyre City Gathering of Scholars" condemned after its meeting "The unjust, brutal and terrorist ‘Israeli' aggression against the Freedom Flotilla Fleet."

The Gathering drew attention to the fact that "This Zionist aggression was not to have taken place if it were not for world silence -the Western world in particular- toward the repeated Zionist enemy crimes and due to the majority of Arab regimes abandoning to provide any support to the oppressed Palestinian people and besieged Gaza."

The Gathering called on "The free Arab and Islamic peoples to check their conscience towards the oppressed Palestinian people, and to work on lifting the embargo entirely off Gaza."
