Sayyed Fadlallah Receives Minister Fneish: For Confronting All Attempts to Sow Strife

Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah received Minister Mohammad Fneish today, as they reviewed the Lebanese situation in the light of the municipal election results, and what that produced. They also reviewed regional events and their effects in Lebanon and on the movements of resistance and invincibility in the region.

His Eminence also met with the President of Beirut al-Watan, Dr. Zuhair al-Khatib, heading a delegation from the center. They reaffirmed their intent on protecting Islamic unity against any destabilizing shake ups, stressing the need for Sunnis and Shiaas to stand by the nation's basic issues together, the issue of Palestine at their forefront, and to confront all attempts at stirring strife between them.
