The administrative and technical delegation led by State Minister Jean Ogasapian will be heading to Syria on Saturday for a two-day visit, to negotiate suggested regulations on the agreements between the two countries.

The meeting is considered as preparatory for the Lebanese PM Saad Hariri's meeting with his Syrian counterpart Mohammad Naji, where they will sign new agreements.

On the other hand, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman will be heading to Syria on Tuesday.

"The president's visit accompanied with a mini-ministerial delegation, will be a short one that includes a meeting between Suleiman and the Syrian president Bashar Assad, and another one between the two presidents and the Lebanese and Syrian delegation". Newspapers reported

Well-informed official sources indicated there is a full schedule for the Lebanese-Syrian summit that will cover the latest regional developments, especially the "Israeli" piracy on the Freedom Flotilla, and the UN Security Council news sanctions forced on Iran.

According to the sources, the summit will also cover Lebanese and Syrian common files.

State Minister Adnan Sayyed Hussein, told Lebanese Annahar newspaper that the two presidents will discuss coordination between Arab countries before the exceptional summit in September.

"It is expected that president Suleiman will renew his invitation to the Syrian president to visit Lebanon", said Hussein, assuring that the relation between Lebanon and Syria today is developing and getting stronger in the field of diplomatic work, common interests, and mutual respect.
