ICRC Slams “Israel” Over Gaza Siege

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) slammed "Israel" over its brutal siege on Gaza, regarding that it violates the Geneva Convention.
In a one of a kind criticism against "Israel", the ICRC condemned on Monday the siege as a severe hardship for nearly 1.5 million Palestinians in the besieged territory.
According to BBC, the ICRC published a statement which read, "The whole of Gaza's civilian population is being punished for acts for which they bear no responsibility. The closure therefore constitutes a collective punishment imposed in clear violation of Israel's obligations under international humanitarian law".
Gazans have been living under very harsh life circumstances, where they face a lack of drinkable waters, blackouts, poverty, unemployment, and many other problems caused by the "Israeli" forced blockade on Gaza.
The ICRC did not forget to mention the May 31st "Israeli" attack on the Freedom Flotilla humanitarian convoy ships to Gaza.
Gaza has been witnessing a brutal "Israel" siege around its territories, since before the 2008-2009 war on Gaza, which caused in the death of almost 1,400 Gazans, in addition to billions worth economic damages.
