According to Maariv newspaper, "Israeli" occupying troops, along with UN troops, secretly started drawing the eastern district of the border line between Lebanon and the occupied territories.

In that framework, the troops set blue containers marking the delicate blue line which has always erected security tension and conflicts between Lebanon and "Israel".

"Israeli" army sources, told Maariv that marking the western district of the border line is complete, and they started with the eastern district so it would be physically marked.

The "Blue Line" was put to action after the "Israeli" withdrawal from South Lebanon in May 2000, after where the UN troops marked the border lined according to the international resolution 425.

For almost two years now, UNIFIL envoys, along with UN troops and the military prosecutor, agreed upon one visible and agreeable Blue Line.

As troops go forward to the east towards the Ghajar and Shibaa farms, tension is expected to increase, especially that they are originally Lebanese occupied territories.
