Yazbek: We Attain Ability and Strength for Lebanon’s Sake

Head of Hizbullah Legislative Committee Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek has assured that Hizbullah is a Lebanese party and part of the Lebanese Shiite community who are nationalist partners in Lebanon.

"When we attain ability and strength, it is for Lebanon's sake," His Eminence assured.

"Our aim is national unity so that Lebanon would stay sovereign, liberated, and free from sectarianism," he added.

In a statement he delivered, Head of Hizbullah Legislative Committee expressed sorrow for the rhetoric claiming that Lebanese Shiite's loyalty is for Iran.

"While at the same time," he added, "We hear others brag about their relation with France regarding it publicly as the mother."

Sheikh Yazbek reassured, "Our faith in God and commitment to our religious authorities require us to preserve independency and liberty."

"We need no national certificate," he said.

"The blood of our martyrs, leaders, and self-sacrifice resisters that liberated our nation, united Lebanon, and preserved its sovereignty and dignity proves our preference in nationality," Sheikh Yazbek concluded.

"We will not allow anyone to violate Lebanon," he concluded.
