As the occupation government's decisions to demolish Palestinian homes and evacuate Palestinians seem insufficient to Zionist settlers, the last said they would hire private security firms to implement the evictions of four Palestinian families, which include 40 individuals, if they do not leave by July 4.

The "Israeli" settlers in East Jerusalem threatened on Wednesday to evict four Palestinian families they claim are living on property belonging to Jews in the neighborhood of Silwan, Zionist newspaper Haaretz reported.

The Palestinian families are living in a structure that was built illegally by a Zionist nationalist association in the heart of the Palestinian neighborhood Silwan.

Meanwhile, the settlers said they would take matters onto their own hands if "Israeli" police does not evict the Palestinian families by next month.

Silwan is a home to approximately 50,000 Palestinians and 70 Jewish families.

Al Quds (Jerusalem) municipality has approved on Monday preliminary plans to demolish 22 other Palestinian homes in the neighborhood as part of a plan to build a Zionist tourist center.
