Aridi: Lebanon Ready to Confront “Israel” After Threat to Use Force over Gas Fields

Minister of Public Works and Transportation Ghazi Aridi said on Friday that Lebanon is ready to confront "Israel' following its threat to use force to protect its gas fields, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

"We have faced many things against "Israel" and made big achievements," Aridi said in a statement after meetings with a number of MPs at his ministry.

Referring to the "Israeli" threats, Aridi said, "It is not surprising to see a terrorist state claiming that oil in Lebanese waters is their oil."
