Larijani: Sayyed Nasrallah Is a Courageous Leader, Hizbullah Taught "Israel" a Big Lesson

In the second time within two days, Head of the Iranian Shoura Council Ali Larijani praised Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, extolling his courage and Hizbullah resistance's braveness saying," He taught "Israel" a big lesson during the 2006 aggression and prevented it from taking control over the region."

In a press conference he held in the Iranian Embassy in Damascus on Thursday, Larijani said, "At a certain stage, "Israelis" wanted to take control over the region, and they succeeded. However, today the situation is different. Today they are trying to find justifications to go on with their life."

Larijani reassured "Israel's" defeat saying, "The 33-day war, and the brave resistance of Hizbullah and its Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah taught those ("Israelis") a lesson."
"So did Hamas in the 22-day war," Larijani added, "Through its firmness, it imposed another defeat on the enemy."

He concluded that the Zionists are not in the position they used to be in previously.
Head of the Shoura Council added, "If some used to believe that a solution could be reached if we follow the path of surrender and haggle, I believe they now realize the deception of this path, this is why they transfer to supporting the resistance."

Larijani is in Syria in a two day visit, to attend a conference along with Syrian and Indonesian officials.
