Safieddien: Laying Off Enemy Spies’ Issue, A Grave Betrayal
Local Editor
Hizbullah Executive Bureau chief, Sayyed Hachem Safieddine, said that the resistance which we're proud of today, with its martyrs, leaders, and people, is the product of the south and Jabal Amel, so no one should think that he would be able to erase a history of resistance and loyalty.
Sayyed Safieddine spoke in an honoring ceremony of Sheikh Moussa Jaafar Moghniyeh, in Imam Sadek Cultural Compound in Beirut.
"We were used in our history to being misjudged, and that is not something wrong, yet we are used to being in the level of challenge", Safieddine said.
He continued, "We're on to the 4th year since July war, which made us tougher and stronger. Others should be aware that our bones are not fragile, and we're much stronger that they imagine. Qur patience is eternal and lasts forever with our love and forgiveness. Why then do they deny our sacrifices?"
When speaking about the off-shore oil fields in Lebanon, Sayyed Safieddine questioned whether it was their right to be careful for losing the "promised" fuel resource, stressing they should be aware that they do not lose those resources. He also added that it is every individual's duty to make all related rules ready to start working on the issue.
As for recent events, Hizbullah Executive Bureau Chief referred to the Lebanese army intelligence's latest achievement, which is uncovering the ""Israeli" spy agent, which worked in the Alfa GSM communication network. He said that this event should call upon all voices to stand against the phenomenon of "enemy spies", that "Israel" has implanted in all sensitive firms in Lebanon.
"After the latest speech by Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, and all political stances which urged applying death sentence to all enemy spies, the judiciary council then is upon a grave responsibility to be tough in this dangerous national issue", Sayyed Hachem said.
Sayyed Hachem Safieddine also shed the light on the incident of "Israel's" kidnapping of the Lebanese shepherd in Shebaa last week, saying that it was not acceptable how media outlets illustrated the event as very normal. He continued saying that the kidnapping of the shepherd and the brutal physical assaults which "Israeli" troops caused him is unacceptable, and this issue demands protest and condemnation.
"The Lebanese government is demanded to carry out its duty in providing security for the people of that region", referring to the region of where the shepherd was kidnapped. "If the government backed off from its duty, then it would be the people's right to provide their own security measures in order to protect their region and country", Safieddine said.
