MP Hachem: UNIFIL Task is to Provide Security in Lebanon

Liberation and Development Parliamentary Bloc Member, MP Kassem Hachem, in an interview with Lebanese "NBN" Television station, said, "Southerners are assiduous on maintaining their relations with the UNIFIL since ever", where he stressed on the importance of coordination between the army and UNIFIL.

Hachem referred that the UNIFIL troops' task is to help the Lebanese army to spread along the Lebanese borders, providing security and safety for the Lebanese territories.

On another hand, MP Hachem stressed that everyone is hanging on resolution 1701, especially southerners, for it provides their safety, calling upon those who talk otherwise, to take back what they say.
