MP Raad: Future Movement, Lebanese Forces Project Should Attain Consensual Approval

Head of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary block MP Mohammad Raad assured that Hizbullah encourages any agreement that gives the Palestinians their complete humanitarian and civil rights.

In an interview with As-Safir newspaper, Raad emphasized that the suggested project by the Future Movement, and the Lebanese Forces should attain the approval of all parties to be applicable.

He indicated that, out of commitment to consensual democracy, Hizbullah previously refused to vote for head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Walid Jumblatt's suggestions, in addition because it considers that Christians are partners in the project of building a capable and just country.

"This consensual standard should be also respected by others," Raad added.
