Berri: Terrorism Lies in “Israel” and Its Supporters

In an interview with Lebanese As-Safir newspaper, Lebanese Speaker of Parliament, Nabih Berri, said, "The security convention with France will not pass by in its current form", referring that they should either cancel the first article of the convention, or mend it, where it should state, "Fighting terrorism, according to the Lebanese definition of terrorism".

Berri clarified that there's a difference in defining this term between Lebanese and the French, where they have their own perspective in the issue. "We consider that the enemy and who helps it, are terrorism", Berri stated.

Lebanese Speaker of Parliament further added that he responded sharply to a delegation from the US Senate, which visited him recently, talking about terrorism in reference to the resistance.

In this context, Berri revealed that his response was, "Terrorism lies in "Israel" and its supporters".
