Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem assured that the Zionist enemy, regardless of its internal assistant, is incapable of achieving a victory in any possible aggression against Lebanon.

He pointed out that the resistance's preparations considered all the possible scenarios on waters, air and on the entire Lebanese lands, indicating that the resistance's strength is for Lebanon's benefit.

In an interview with Al Binaa newspaper, Sheikh Qassem emphasized that since the beginning, Hizbullah said a solution to the defense strategy could be reached only on the dialogue table, therefore, there is no army separated from the defense strategy.

"Some insist on passing on this issue to the media, however it would be more beneficial and serving Lebanon's welfare if they return it to the dialogue table," Qassem added.

Regarding the latest clash between the UNIFIL and Southern residents, Sheikh Qassem considered that a certain country whose forces serve in South Lebanon, is aiming at achieving accomplishments through their presence, and is more likely trying to please "Israel".

Sheikh Qassem reassured Hizbullah's commitment to resolution1701, emphasizing that the Lebanese army is the one in charge and the UNIFIL forces assist it in achieving the resolution's goals in the region.

Moreover, Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General pointed out that Hizbullah is determined to deal with, "the international tribunal in complete accuracy and according to its developments, and will not respond to media investigations or questions, so that we would not enter mazes of political discussions on the tribunal."

He clarified that Hizbullah, "Would deal with it according to its method of working, in other words if it was politicized we would have a stance, and if it was judicial based on tangible evidence then we would have another stance," emphasizing, "We in Hizbullah are not accused."
