Moussawi: Considering "Israel" a Neighbor Encourages Treason

Loyalty to the resistance Parliamentary Bloc Member MP Nawwaf Moussawi revealed that the Lebanese army intelligence forces are still tracking a big number of "Israeli" espionage agents in Lebanon.

In an interview with LBCI TV channel, Moussawi said, "We call for national alertness to fight the "Israeli" agents in Lebanon on the political and educational level, besides confronting it on the security level."

He considered that considering the Zionist entity a neighboring country, instead of deepening enmity towards it, in addition to promoting for campaigns of false accusations against the resistance, all help in encouraging treason among the Lebanese.

"Therefore, we have to work on discussing this issue on the dialogue table, emphasizing that "Israel" is an enemy," Moussawi said.

On another level, Moussawi mentioned that Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's visit to Lebanon was postponed due to technical problems, assuring that the Iranian president will be welcomed with great public reception due to the Islamic Republic's continuous support to Lebanon.

MP Moussawi stressed on the choice of resistance, clarifying that after the July war the certainty on depending on one's own power, rather than on international community and its desires that change according to political and international benefits, have increased.

Regarding the international tribunal, Moussawi assured that Lebanon should not pay the price of international schemes, pointing out that relations with Lebanese PM Saad Hariri are good, yet they disagreement on the Lebanese-French security convention.
