Head of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt said that his meeting with Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Wednesday was excellent, and that the discussions covered all the current issues.

In an interview with As-safir newspaper, Jumlatt pointed out that both sides had matching political analysis on the currently exposed topics nationally, regionally, and internationally, and that they discussed possible ways to respond to its internal effects.

Jumblatt clarified that his negotiations with Sayyed Nasrallah included the increase of spying networks in Lebanon and their dangers, the events occurring in the South after the last incidents with the UNIFIL, "Israeli" Army Staff Chief Gabi Ashkenazi's latest statements, and developments in the international tribunal for Lebanon (STL). He assured that the meeting agreed on the importance of keeping the tribunal away from politicization, and limiting it in its legal peaceful frame.

Furthermore, Jumblatt indicated that Sayyed Nasrallah is one of the most people who are eager to know the truth and apply equity, away from any intended politicization.

On the other hand, As-safir reported that Jumblatt received on Wednesday a phone call from a high security official who asked him about his opinion on what is currently happening.
Jumblatt, according to the paper, firmly responded by asking him to stop supporting Head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea who is playing a critical role in stirring Sunni-Shiite incitements, and taking advantage of the Future Movement's political cover up on his acts.

In another interview with Lebanese Al Akhbar newspaper, Jumblatt pointed out the matching specification of threats surrounding Lebanon with Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

He said that the decision the U.S. Foreign Affairs Committee lately issued permitting "Israel" to attack Lebanon under the claim of "protecting its security"; "Israel's" success in convincing the U.S. that Iran and Hizbullah are dangereous in the region, and by that Syria is also and the possibility of attacking Syria; besides the UNIFIL's maneuver under the title of preventing Lebanon from defending its lands if "Israel" attacked, rather than standing by the Lebanese army to prevent the aggression; are all indications to the threats surrounding Lebanon.

Jumblatt assured that the fourth indicator to these threats is the failure of peace talks in the region, while the "Byzantine debate" among Palestinians on whether to go into direct or indirect negotiations.

Jumblatt proceeded his criticisms to Head of the Lebanese Forces without naming him saying, "as if all these critical indications and others threatening Lebanon are not enough, for an internal side to predict incitement and assassinations.

Jumblatt considered that, "He is pouring oil on fire rather than contributing to a positive political rhetoric and joining the rational ones seeking to avoid incitements and keep the international tribunal away from politicization."

PSP leader wondered, "Isn't he concerned with the internal efforts to avoid incitements? Is the matching of his assassinations and incitement predictions and "Israeli" Army Staff Chief Gabi Ashkenazi's statement on the same topic a coincidence?"

Jumblatt clarified that starting Saturday he will have series of stances on the continuous developments in Lebanon and the region, and on ways of confronting them to keep Lebanon away from trouble.
