Minister of Agriculture Hussein Hajj Hassan considered that the Special Tribunal (STL) indictment might have been previously prepared and they are trying to promote for it.

In an interview with Al Jadeed TV channel, Hajj Hassan said, "Some "philosopher's" statements denying the existence of false witnesses reveal that a conspiracy is being fabricated, and applying it would drag the country into a harsh crisis."

He assured that, "We know nothing could be proved against Hizbullah, and we will not accept an accusation to anyone in Hizbullah."

Hajj Hassan pointed out that, "Stability is the resistance's embracement. This is what America and "Israel" conspired against, and we preserved it."

On the other hand, Hajj Hassan indicated that the alliance between Hizbullah and Syria is a strong one, not an alliance based on subordination as some portrayed it.

Minister of Agriculture added that it is clear now that the STL indictment is being manipulated, wondering, "If it was neither the Lebanese judiciary's duty, nor the international tribunal's duty to prosecute false witnesses, then whose duty is it?"

Hajj Hassan pointed out, "We proposed the establishment of an Arab investigation Commission and they refused it, and some of those are conspirators".

Minister Hajj Hassan also wondered, "What would he who defends the American while the American is publicly assaulting us be?"
