Iranian Ambassador: Wisdom of Lebanese Sole Guarantee to Stop “Israeli” Designs

Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ghadanfar Rokon Abadi, praised on Wednesday Former
Agriculture Minister Elias Skaff's support for rights and justice, with the Palestinian cause at the forefront.

Following his visit to Popular Bloc leader, Elias Skaff, Abadi pointed in a statement issued by the Iranian Embassy to the Zionist schemes and designs to target Lebanon.

"The wisdom of Lebanese leaderships and citizens is the sole guarantee to bring an end to said designs, and to confront them," Abadi said, reiterating the Iranian Islamic Republic's policy in support of Lebanese unity and stability.

In turn, Skaff considered Israeli politics a major threat on Lebanese Christians. He also voiced support to the Resistance path, considering it the main deterrent for "Israel".
