Sheikh Qassem: March 14 Members Fear Sayyed Nasrallah’s Conference Evidently Accusing “Israel”
Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem assured that, "The latest "Israeli" aggression against the Lebanese army in the South revealed once again the hostile "Israeli" intentions and their frequent attempts to take control over our lands and rights."
Sheikh Qassem said, "By its aggression against the Lebanese army, "Israel" aimed at achieving two goals. The first was to disable the army's role in confrontation, and the second was to test the equation of imposing the fact that it could break into the lands whenever it wants, snap whatever it wants, and gradually achieve all its goals without any obstacle." He added, "However "Israel" was surprised with the braveness and bids the Lebanese army's leadership, officers, and units demonstrated, in a way that proves again the army's initial role in defending the land and refusing any "Israeli" violation to our borders."
Sheikh Qassem pointed out that, "the army sacrificed in Mleeta battle and Al Rafea Mountain in 1997, in July 2006, and the path it followed today is part of the national army's ideology which chose this path, and we see today its real cooperation with defending the land and man's dignity."
In a speech Sheikh Qassem delivered, he pointed out that, ""Israelis", Americans, and the West have previously relied on stirring up incitements between the Lebanese army and resistance. They tried hard. However, today they are facing a new dilemma which is the impossibility of dividing the army and the resistance."
His Eminence added that, ""Israel's" considerations have become more complicated today because of the tripartite force equation, the Army, Resistance, and People. This equation adopts the path of national sovereignty, and the work of defending with arms to liberate the land. This equation turned into a system that forms the proud and courageous Lebanon that stands boldly for its demands and believes, rather than being an executer to their demands and believes."
Sheikh Qassem assured that, "Who rejects the tripartite force relation is excluded from the Lebanese government's political decision, because the ministerial statement emphasized on this equation. Moreover, targeting the resistance today is a clear favor to "Israel" because the resistance is part of this tripartite force and part of Lebanon's pride."
He wondered, "How could a decent Lebanese citizen stand in face of Lebanon's power, and call for weakening it in face of "Israel" and affecting the basis of its tripartite power which confronts the "Israeli" enemy?"
Sheikh Qassem pointed out that some March 14 political group members have started discussing Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's press conference before even taking place
"This reveals their fear of what this conference would include. I can only say that they fear that "Israel" would be accused. They fear that the evidence he has is conclusive and "Israel" would be the only suspect," he said; indicating that, "After the conference, especially if they notice that the conference holds affective signals, they would start claiming that it is only political discussions."
"Every time they are incapable, they come up with a political accusation," he added.
Furthermore, His Eminence said, "let it be clear that Hizbullah is not a suspect in the assassination of PM (Rafik) Hariri, neither are members of Hizbullah."Israel" is the only suspect, with its government, Mossad, and all the connivers. After all, "Israel's" track has a record in such assassinations internationally, it is the assassinator of head of the Islamic Jihad Movement Fathi Shikaki, it is the assassinator of (Hamas official in Dubai Mahmoud) Mabhouh and the leader Imad Moughnieh."
His Eminence reassured that, "Traitors do not belong to any religion, sect, party, or group. Traitors are corrupt people related to "Israel" and should be executed so that others would learn a lesson, because previous tolerance with judgments encouraged traitors to proceed with this path. We call for eliminating all traitors in our land to hit one of the powers "Israel" relies on in attacking the Lebanese."
