Shibbani: Iran Supports Efforts to Reveal Truth about Hariri Assassination

Former Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Reza Shibbani considered that war would be in order as long as "Israel" still exists, yet at the same time confirmed that "Israel" is no more capable of deciding on a war after the July 2006 war and its war on Gaza.

In an interview with As-Safir newspaper, Shibbani clarified that "Israel" wants a war which it could guarantee winning, yet that is not possible in the presence of the resistance.

Concerning the Special Tribunal, and the way it is becoming a cause of seduction between Lebanese, expressing Iran's support for every effort in the path of uncovering the truth about behind Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri's assassination, as long as the tribunal is not politicized.

"The tribunal is not targeting Hizbullah, it's rather targeting the security, stability, and national unity of Lebanon", Shibanni said.
