MP Saheli: Authorities Should Impose Death Penalties on Agents As Soon As Possible
Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc member, MP Nawwar Al Saheli assured that "Israel" could not achieve victory through its army in 2006, tries today to enter every village and home in Lebanon through its agents and spies, calling on concerned authorities to impose death penalty as soon as possible.
During an Iftar in Hermel (Baalbeck), Saheli said that the war against the "Israeli" enemy is still ongoing through its agents. He considered "It's natural that "Israel" with all its power tries to bring tremendous numbers of agents to our country, tries to divide the Lebanese people and tries to get as much information as it can."
Saheli urged citizens to be vigilant because the issue of spying is very crucial, stating that an agent is a traitor to the homeland, religion, and family, he is an agent to everything.
He added that when talking about putting agents on trial, it means judging them according to Lebanese Penal Code starting from article 273 and all articles that come after which some of them stipulate capital punishment.
"The permanent Military court has issued death penalty verdicts against some agents, and we await the approval of these verdicts by the court of Appeal. We hope that the Minister of justice as well as the Lebanese president sign these verdicts, and hope as well that the government take them into action, which will be an example to all those who even think about collaborating with the enemy," Saheli added.
