Intensive Communications have been taking place in the past two days between Lebanon and New York, to agree on the form of the resolution on extending the UNIFIL's presence in South Lebanon, after international attempts, especially from the US, to impose conditions in this issue.
The conditions include adding "The International Forces' free movement in villages" to the resolution, while Lebanon rejected any modification to the texts stating the UNIFIL's duties, As-Safir newspaper reported.

The Lebanese Foreign Ministry prepared its response and comment on the decision, knowing that Foreign Minister Ali Shami met with the US and French charge d'affaires to discuss the terms that will be added to the resolution.
