Iranians Mark Al Quds Day on Friday

Iranians alongside other people around the world have marks the International Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan.
According to Press TV, millions of Iranians across the country, including in the capital Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz and Mashhad, hold rallies in opposition to the continued occupation of Palestinian land by "Israel".
People from all walks of life are participating in the event to show their solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and condemn the crimes committed by Zionists in the occupied territories.
Iranian state and military officials are also present at the anti-"Israeli" rallies, expressing their hatred to the barbaric measures of the Zionist regime.
Al Quds International Day is an annual event observed on the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan, in which the participants express their solidarity with the Palestinian people and raise protests at occupation of Al Quds.
The late founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini, in August 1979 declared the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan as the Quds Day and turned the "Israeli" embassy in Tehran into the first Palestinian embassy in the world, calling for international rallies in support of Palestinians and against "Israel".
