Kobaissi: Jemayel Recognition of Collaborating with the "Israeli" Enemy Necessitates Lots of Shame

Development and Liberation Bloc member MP Hani Kobaissi replied Monday on the comment declared by MP Sami Jemayel, who declared in an interview that he is not ashamed of being a collaborator with the "Israeli" enemy against Syria at a certain time in the past.

Kobaissi said that acknowledging ones mistake is a good deed, but in case of collaboration, it is a mistake that necessitates a lot of shame. He added "receiving help from the enemy to confront a friend, or brother is like someone who is receiving the devil's help to confront The Merciful"

MP Kobaissi, who was delivering the speech of Amal Movement, in an Iftar at Kaakaiet el Jisr in South Lebanon, to honor the expatriates of the village; confirmed that what Lebanon needs in this era is the national tranquility and serenity, and to acknowledge the difference between the enemy and the friend.

He confirmed the necessity that everyone should be under the level of tranquility; and that everyone has to present the concept of unity over the concept of fragmentation; and the concept of civil peace over the concept of riots, not to mention the concept of resistance that is completed by the army and the people over the concept of defeat and surrendering.

Kobaissi commented on the direct talks between the Palestinians and the Zionists where he pointed: "these talks are not negotiations for Palestine, rather these are talks to conceal the cause of Palestine, which comes under the pathway of eliminating the Palestinian cause and realize the right of the Palestinian people to return to their homeland and establish their independent state with the Holy Al Quds as its Capital".
