Angelina Jolie Condemns Plan to Burn the Quran

Angelina Jolie on Wednesday condemned the threat of a Christian church in Florida to burn copies of the Quran on the ninth anniversary of the attacks of 11 September.
The actress ruled against burning during a trip to Pakistan to raise global awareness about the floods that have devastated this Muslim country for a month and a half. Angelina Jolie is goodwill ambassador of the United Nations agency for refugees.
"I have hardly words to describe someone who can do this the book of a religion," Angelina Jolie told reporters in Islamabad after a visit to refugee camps in northwest Pakistan, one of the areas hardest hit by floods .
Pastor Terry Jones, of the Evangelical Church Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida, said he would go ahead with the burning.
