Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov said Friday that his country still intends on sealing the deal with Syria to supply the latter with arms.
The deal includes the sale of P-800 Yakhont supersonic cruise missiles, in addition to advanced anti-ship rockets to Syria.
Serdyukov, now visiting in Washington, referred that his talks with US War Minister Robert Gates held this issue, indicating "Israel's" and US's protest against the Syrian-Russian deal.
Russia on the other hand sees no need for "Israeli" and US concerns.
According to RIA Novostki Russian state news agency, Sergei Prikhodko, Senior Advisor to Russian President said that Moscow will fulfill its side of the agreement with Syria, and would not halt the deal.
