Maj. Gen. As-Sayed Asks PM Hariri for Clear Details about Group 13
Local Editor
Former chief of General Security, Major General Jamil As-Sayed, asked Friday PM Saad Hariri to give clear details to his deputies, the Lebanese public, and the Salafi Islamic party, in particular, about "his" Prosecutor Judge Said Mirza's and chief of Information Branch Wissam Hasan's discarding investigations with what is known as the "Group 13" members, headed by Hassan Nabaa, knowing that this group admitted, under no pressure and with no retreat, that it hid Ahmad Abu Aadas and his friends at Ain Helwe camp in the end of 2005.

General As-Sayed explained that the confessions given by this group were quite true and based on available documents at the disposal of the International Investigation Committee, yet PM Saad Hariri's aides in March 14 forces intended to disregard it and direct the accusation instead against Syria and the four officers in killing former PM Rafic Hariri.
