Areslan: The Mountain Will Always Serve As Backbone of The Resistance

Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, MP Talal Areslan, said Sunday while touring villages of West Alley and Shihar - Shouf, that the Shouf Mountain will always foster the Resistance and serve as its backbone.

The MP also hailed the strong relations the Mountain has with Syria, based on strategic logistics and mutual Arab nationalism and history.

He declared that regular meetings were being held between his party, Hizbullah and Walid Jumblatt's Progressive Socialist Party; said meetings aim at coordinating between these political powers and continuously confirming their strong ties with their "Syrian brethrens."
