In presence of Telecommunication Minister Charbel Nahhas, Media and Telecommunication Parliamentary Commission discussed in its regular meeting Thursday the decision issued by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in which it condemned the Zionist piracy on the GSM and landline phone networks.

The meeting was also attended by the Lebanese delegation which participated in the ITU's conference in Mexico.

Head of Media and Telecommunication Commission, MP Hassan Fadlallah clarified after the meeting that they discussed the efforts exerted by the Lebanese delegation in the conference in order to reach a conviction against "Israel".

In the conference, there was a hearing in which the Lebanese delegation explained the "Israeli" piracy, in addition to facts that demonstrate the Zionist aggressions practiced against the Lebanese government through espionage and tapping.

In this context, MP Fadlallah considered that the ITU International decision is historic on the level of convicting "Israel".

Hassan Fadlallah added that a joint press conference will be held between Media and Telecommunication Commission and the delegation which attended the ITU conference, in order to present all facts and data concerning this issue.

MP Fadlallah added that important information regarding "Israeli" violations was discussed in the meeting, referring to the presence of 21 tapping and espionage "Israeli" centers on the Lebanese-Palestinian borderlines.

Furthermore, the Parliamentary commission praised the Lebanese efforts in achieving a conviction against "Israel", stressing on the importance of presenting the data with facts, in order to set instructions of how to avoid the "Israeli" aggression.
